You may have a look in mind for your special occasion. However, unless you try out this look you can never be sure. We are all different and the creation needs to bring out our own individuality. What might be stunning on someone else is not necessarily the right thing for you.

Great makeup and hair has to factor in your facial structure, skin type, tone and condition, hair density, face shape plus many other smaller things.

At Glow Makeup we work with you to meet your dreams and aspirations of the look you want but taking into consideration your uniqueness, so that the creation brings out your best, your own “glow”.

If you decide not to have a trial, we can arrange to discuss your requirements and your vision for your dream look over a telephone consultation or a video call free of charge.

Your trial will comprise:

Makeup application including luxury lashes
Experimenting with a range of eye makeup looks so that you have options
Hair styling including padding and placement of hair accessories
Advice on skin care and conditioning (products, natural remedies and diet)
Carried out at our studio.

Does your hair styling include padding and extensions?
All our packages include padding and synthetic hair pieces. We advise our clients to purchase their own human hair extensions prior to their booking as it needs to match their own hair colour.
Are false lashes included?
Luxury lashes are included for bridal, pre-wedding and post-wedding packages. Party packages include a more natural false lash; however, you can purchase luxury lashes at an additional cost of £10.00.
Will the hair and makeup last all day?
With the application of primers, the correct foundation for your skin type, and the use of setting powders and setting sprays, your makeup will last all day. We recommend that you purchase a lipstick to top up during the day and blotting powder to apply to the skin to eliminate any shine. The hairstyle will last all day too.
Do you secure the dupatta on the head?
The dupatta will be draped and securely pinned to reduce the weight as much as possible. We recommend a lighter dupatta as it will be much easier to manage on the day.
Do you travel to the client’s location?
We will travel to your preferred location; however, travel charges may apply depending on distance. Please ensure parking space is available outside your home or venue prior to our arrival. If there is a fee for car parking at a hotel location, the cost will be covered by the client.
Do I need to do anything prior to my booking?
Please ensure you are ready for your booking before we arrive. Wash and fully dry your hair with a hair dryer - but do not straighten as this will flatten the hair - and have your outfit on.

For Bridal bookings, please check your jewellery is not broken in advance and zips are secure on your outfits. Please have your jewellery laid out, dupatta ironed and shoes ready.
Please note: every half-hour wait period will incur a £25 charge.

Do I need to bring my outfit to the trial?
If you have your outfit and jewellery ready to bring to the trial, we can create a bespoke look to complement these - however, this is not essential. Some ideas and inspiration for your desired hair and makeup look will be helpful.

Trials are held at our Walsall studio.

Can I bring a friend to the trial?
Yes, you can bring a friend or family member with you for support or a second opinion.
What products do you use?
We only use high-quality branded products such as MAC, Nars, Urban Decay, Huda Beauty, NYX and Anastasia Beverly Hills. If you have sensitive skin and would prefer your own products, we are happy to use them.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking date and the balance is to be paid on the day of the booking in cash, or one week prior if paying by bank transfer.
